COMPARISON OF METHODS OF WATER DISINFECTION USED IN CENTRALIZED SYSTEMS OF WATER SUPPLY

Abstract
The modern technologies of disinfecting of potable water from surface sources are considered. It is selected options of the technologies that are most often used in the systems of central water supply of the Russian Federation. The capital and operating costs for water treatment stations with a capacity of 10 thousand m3/day and 720 thousand m3/day are calculated.
