Abstract
Studied sowing safflower for oilseeds and the influence of his predecessors on productivity. Experiments were carried out in the steppe zone in the conditions of the Rostov region in 2014. The dependence of sowing time on seed germination, the duration of interphase periods and vegetation, as well as on the yield of safflower. The optimum sowing date in early April and the best precursor - winter wheat.
