THE ROLE OF SMALL MAMMALS IN THE WILD OUTBREAKS OF HEMORRHAGIC FEVER WITH RENAL SYNDROME IN THE VOLOGDA REGION

Abstract
This article examines the close relationship of growth of populations of wild small mammals with the rise of morbidity hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome in the Vologda region. Studies suggest that in recent years the increase in growth in the number of rodents promotes the formation of stable natural foci of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, which leads to a high risk of human infection with the infection.
