THE PHYTOMASS OF NEEDLES TAKING INTO ACCOUNT DISTRIBUTION OF TREES IN PINE FOREST STANDS

Abstract
Application of the general standards with use of standard distributions of trees results in considerable distinction in data on the phytomass of needles. Thus it should be noted that the maximum difference doesn't exceed 70% for the fullest forest stands, and for modal plantings difference averages 15%. Influence of a structure in determination of phytomass of needles averages 15-20%. Results show that for reliable estimates of phytoweight it is necessary to use local standards which more consider regularities of distribution of trees and the size of weight of needles of a separate tree.
